Del Hill

Del lives in Gainesville with his wife, Linda. He is technically retired, which merely means he's not playing for an audience 4 or 5 nights a week.

Del has opened for such Greats as Willie Nelson, Ronnie Milsap, Stoney Larue, and many more. He spends a great deal of time in his home studio and writing new songs. (Ask him to play Arkansas Calling)

Del is comfortable in front of a crowd of 2 or 2,000. Or 20,000 for that matter. He has been called a "hired gun" which in the music business refers to one's ability to fill in for a missing member of an existing group. A lot of bands that you see in concert are not using original band members. They are using Hired Guns for the tour or simply for that location.

Del and Patty are Southern Hearts. He is no hired gun here.
